Configure Dell PowerScale NAS for Work with Tiger Bridge

To effectively use a SMB share as a source for Tiger Bridge, it is essential to enable change notifications on your NAS. Follow the instructions below to configure the "change notify" setting on your Dell PowerScale NAS and ensure that Tiger Bridge can properly monitor and sync file changes on its SMB shares.

  1. In a web browser, enter the IP address or DNS name of your PowerScale NAS to access its management interface.

  2. Enter your administrative credentials to log in.

  3. In the Protocols menu, select Windows Sharing (SMB).

  4. In the SMB tab, select the network share you want to configure for work with Tiger Bridge, then select "View/Еdit.

  5. In "View SMB share details", select "Edit SMB share".

  6. In "Edit SMB share details" under Advanced settings, select All in the "Change notify" drop-down box.

  7. Select "Save changes".
