Tiger Technology is pleased to announce the latest upgrade of its project and user management software for M&E, Tiger Spaces 4.7.3. It aims to address system instability issues observed on Intel-based macOS Big Sur and all supported ARM-based macOS clients. Specifically, it focuses on scenarios where Tiger Spaces Client 4.7.1 and Tiger Client 2.9.3 software operate together.
With this new maintenance release, users can ensure a seamless and reliable user experience. For optimal software performance, Tiger Technology strongly encourages the upgrade to the latest version of both Tiger Spaces server and clients. This recommendation applies universally, regardless of whether Tiger Store is also used.
Upgrading to Tiger Spaces 4.7.3:
- Streamlined installation: As always, the upgrade process to Tiger Spaces 4.7.3 involves a simple installation procedure. Upon upgrading to version 4.7.3 and installing the Tiger Spaces 4.7.3 client bundle, users can conveniently access the updated installation files for the Tiger Spaces Client through the Downloads page of the web interface.
- Preservation of workspaces and settings: Users upgrading from Tiger Spaces version 4.x to version 4.7.3 will have their workspaces, users, and settings preserved, provided they choose to re-use their existing Tiger Spaces database.
